Eeva received CE mark in July 2012 and is currently available for use in the European Union. Eeva is not yet cleared in the US and is limited to investigational use only. Recently the Company and Merck Serono announced a strategic partnership to further advance the development and commercialization of the Eeva Test in the European Union, Canada, Australia and the US. The Company closed its first round of financing in May 2010 and is funded by the leading life science venture firms: Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, TPG Biotechnology, Merck Serono Ventures and SRone.

Purpose of the Job

Make a difference in the world by bringing your digital marketing talents to the community of IVF. Responsible to build our outstanding online/digital marketing presence for consumers and physicians. Must have a track record of results and impact in digital marketing including web, social, mobile and email marketing. Leverage digital and social tools to engage our customers. Key member of the marketing team responsible for owning our online market conversation as well as participate in traditional media programs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Devise digital marketing strategies, plans and tactics that deliver high value as part of an integrated marketing mix.
  • Manage a comprehensive patient centric program designed to raise awareness and educate patients about IVF treatment options that include Auxogyn technology.
  • Leverage PR, Web 2.0, social networking and user generated content to drive qualified traffic to our site and customer clinics, and create relationships with key influencers in the IVF community.
  • Monitor (potential) customer created content as well as understand the insights generated from such content.
  • Ownership of patient and corporate websites. Update and maintain the websites as a relevant source of real time information for the IVF community and customers.
  • Responsible for online patient segmentation and targeting, positioning, online campaigns, utilizing ad text, paid search and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Utilize SEO to drive leads via keyword, content and page development, copywriting, URLs, linking strategy, landing pages, site indexing for SEO.
  • Establish value from performance metrics, customer research, competitive landscape, and industry standard best practices in order to continuously evolve and improve our customer experiences.
  • Measure the impact and return of social media on overall Marketing and PR efforts.
  • Responsible for online monitoring and the reporting of analytics and lead tracking statistics as well as performance improvement measures to lower the cost of customer acquisition.
  • Integrate and ensure the digital consumer strategy complements the overall marketing strategy and programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Work closely with creative and digital agency to strategize and execute projects.
  • Write, proofread and provide copy edits to a variety of marketing documents (both on and offline).
  • Support traditional collateral development /marcom projects on a regular basis.
  • Deliver products and programs that produce revenue results.

Preferred Qualifications

Education and/or Job Experience

  • Self-motivated with a creative mind.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles - experience with DTC campaigns for a minimum of 2 years
  • 3+ years of digital/online interactive experience
  • Ability to prioritize and refine digital tactics based on business objectives and customer adoption of digital media.
  • Extensive analytical skills
  • Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint skills; website development on CMS and CRM database management experience, along with SEO, email campaigns and online advertising.
  • Experience in the use of tools such as Google Analytics/ Insights or other social media monitoring tools for the purpose of identifying online search trends.
  • Experience using social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, blogs, etc.
  • Experience in development of content for digital education.
  • Proven project management skills - capable of putting together and delivering complex plans and projects.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Previous start-up, entrepreneurial success is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business, Economics, Math/Statistics)

Special Skills, Abilities, and Requirements

  • Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical/device industry regulatory environment and how that relates to digital marketing tactical implementation is a bonus
