Auxogyn, Inc. is a privately held medical technology company focused on advancing women’s reproductive health by applying its novel scientific and clinical knowledge of early human developmental biology to the field of assisted reproduction and in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures. Auxogyn’s first product in development combines a proprietary computational algorithm with developmental biology imaging capabilities to assess early embryo viability at the four-cell stage of development by identifying embryos that have the possibility of developing into a blastocyst. Position Summary
We are seeking an outstanding professional for the position of Director of Marketing. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President of Commercialization, and will work in close collaboration with others on the management team. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to leverage their tenacity and professional skills, and reap the financial and personal rewards associated with Auxogyn’s commercial success.
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing both tactical and strategic marketing activities to enable the company to meet its corporate goals. The successful candidate must have proven skills and experience in product marketing and communicatons in the medical device field. He/she will initially have the singular responsibility for all marketing projects and will have the opportunity to assume broader marketing responsibilities based on demonstrated success.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Working with agencies and vendors, develop and implement marketing communications activities, including branding, public relations, advertising, social and traditional media campaigns, white papers, trade shows, seminars and event collateral materials.
- Manage Internal and External Communication Programs
- Develop and manage the company as well as clinician/patient websites and other appropriate and desirable social and traditional media outlets.
- Prepare relevant information in either report or presentation form to provide market updates for the BOD, advisors and consultants.
- Plan and support conferences and speaker bureaus. Work with KOLs and associations including patient community to gain visibility and exposure in international, US, and local key meetings
- Plan and implement strategies and tactics to target appropriate message to attain the desired marketing outcome.
- Other Management Responsibilities
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Clinical Research, and Regulatory Affairs functions to determine new product development strategy from product inception to market launch.
- Participate in the ongoing evaluation of potential markets, new products, and new business opportunities.
- As part of the management team assist in the development of stakeholder relationships (key opinion leaders, patient advocates and other industry executives.)
- Represent Auxogyn in a professional manner. Communicate corporate values internally and externally with key constituents.
- As an integral participant in the management team, develop and manage departmental budget, regularly make presentations to employees and management.
- Recruit, hire, train, manage and develop staff as needed.
- Travel frequently in the field to support salesforce and interact with customers and other key industry constituents.
- Maintain superior knowledge of competitive technologies in addition to medical, technical, and industry developments relevant to the Company.

Preferred Qualifications
Education and/or Job Experience
The successful candidate must have many of the following professional experiences:
- More than 10 years of experience in marketing medical products. Experience in women’s health, prenatal and/or the fertility field is preferred.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific or clinically related field. MBA strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, superb oral and written communication skills, analytical capabilities and team leadership experience.
- Strengths in conceptualizing scientific studies, developing and executing projects, and utilizing analytical skills to produce results.
- Proven ability to articulate ideas and plans to both internal (management, employees, BOD) and external (Advisory BODs, investors, clinicians, scientific) constituencies.
- Proven ability to be productive in an evolving organization and adept at managing in this kind of early development business environment.
- Must be able to create and build strong and cohesive relationships with colleagues in other functions; and must demonstrate a persuasive, effective, and flexible personal interaction with people at all levels of the organization.
