Eeva's proprietary software automatically analyses embryo development against scientifically and clinically validated cell-division parameters discovered by researchers at Stanford University, shown to be predictive of the embryo's developmental potential.

Eeva received CE mark in July 2012 and is currently available for use in the European Union. The Eeva Test is pending FDA clearance and is limited to investigational use only in the United States.

Position Summary

We are seeking an outstanding professional for the position of Director of Sales, East Coast. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President of Sales, North America, and will work in close collaboration with others on the commercial team. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to leverage their tenacity and professional skills, and reap the financial and personal rewards associated with Auxogyn’s commercial success.

This Director of Sales, East Coast, will be responsible for generating revenue within the Eastern region of the United States. The successful candidate must have proven track record of pioneering sales in a brand new market, developing a strategic sales plan, building close relationships with different constituents in key accounts, and meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a complex selling environment in the med-tech industry. He/she will initially have the singular responsibility for all sales activities within the US and will have the opportunity to assume broader responsibilities based on demonstrated success.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Together with VP of Sales, North America, develop and implement both short and long-term commercialization strategy and tactical plan
  • Define and prioritize target market segments and accounts. Develop key accounts strategy.
  • Attain quarterly and annual revenue plan
  • Manage sales pipeline across sales territories
  • Regularly monitor performance against key metrics – adjust strategy, plan, and forecast as necessary, in consultation with VP Commercial Development
  • Recruit, train, manage, develop, and retain high-caliber talent to build the team as revenue grows
  • Nurture relationships with KOLs that drive broader adoption
  • Develop pricing packages appropriate for key accounts
  • Working with marketing and clinical groups, elevate Auxogyn exposure to target customer base through conferences, workshops, and other local/regional activities
  • Identify and cultivate potential marketing/sales partners
  • Manage sales OPEX
  • Work with reimbursement consultants, payors, and clinicians to establish reimbursement for Auxogyn technologies (Long-term goal)
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Participate in the ongoing evaluation of potential markets, new products, and new business opportunities.
    • Represent Auxogyn in a professional manner. Communicate corporate values internally and externally with key constituents.
    • Maintain superior knowledge of competitive technologies in addition to medical, technical, and industry developments relevant to the Company.
    • Exhibit the leadership skills that define our corporate culture.

Preferred Qualifications

Education and/or Job Experience

  • More than 8 years of successful experience in US sales management required
  • Experience in IVF required
  • Experience in marketing (in addition to sales management) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a scientific or clinically related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • Strengths in conceptualizing and executing sales strategies, tactics, and techniques based on customer reception and analysis of market environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and sales closing skills.
  • Track record of building a talented, dedicated, and flexible field team that can grow over time to meet evolving needs

  • Demonstrated ability to execute “concept” sale (vs. selling undifferentiated products) and drive customer adoption of a new technology
  • Strong interpersonal skills, superb oral and written communication skills, analytical capabilities and team leadership experience
  • Proven ability to articulate ideas and plans to both internal (management, employees) and external (clinicians, payors, key decision makers) constituencies
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently, away from company headquarters and build a remote team that embraces Auxogyn culture and demonstrates Auxogyn values
