Eeva received CE mark in July 2012 and is currently available for use in the European Union. The Eeva Test is pending FDA clearance and is limited to investigational use only in the United States.

Position Summary

We are expanding our clinical embryology liaison team in Europe and seeking an outstanding professional for the position of Clinical Embryology Liaison, Europe. This position will report to the Vice President, Medical & Scientific Affairs, and work in close collaboration with others in the Clinical Operation, Commercial, Marketing and Engineering. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to leverage their tenacity, professional skills and capabilities and reap the rewards associated with Auxogyn’s commercial success.

This position supports Auxogyn field teams and IVF clinics primarily in UK and Ireland, but also supports other regions in Europe. This is a field based position with extensive travel (greater than 50%). This position serves as the primary clinical liaison between Auxogyn and IVF clinics and requires excellent communication skills and establishment of a solid network within the IVF community. This person will be providing medical/clinical/scientific information regarding the benefits and utility of Eeva.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, embryologists and other clinic decision makers.
    • Present healthcare professionals and decision makers with accurate, balanced and timely information about Eeva and related research
    • Establish scientific and clinical relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to expand research and educational opportunities for Eeva
    • Serve as a medical/clinical/scientific spokesperson in a wide range of venues such as professional society forums, industry meetings and relevant corporate functions
    • Provide clinical embryology technical support to commercial and study sites including but not limited to product training, follow up and trouble shooting and manage customer satisfaction
    • Provide continuing field scientific support and training for sales and customer service
    • Develop and deliver specialized scientific/educational programs
  • Work with marketing to provide clinical feedback for future product enhancements and improvements.
    • Provide customer input and feedback regarding desired product features to the product marketing team
    • Participate in the ongoing evaluation of potential markets, new products, and new business opportunities
    • Keep abreast of medical and scientific developments in IVF relevant field and maintain superior knowledge of competitive technologies; actively participate in key medical and scientific conferences by staffing medical information booths, gathering competitive intelligence on competitors and attending scientific sessions
  • Support Auxogyn’s clinical strategy.
    • Effectively interact with clinical investigators, embryologists, research coordinators, and Ethic Committees when needed to support clinical activities
    • Support clinical operation team to ensure progress against trial timelines and data quality for publication, reporting and regulatory submission
    • Provide oversight and support of study teams to ensure good clinical practice compliance
  • Contribute and participate in the Company’s commitment to scientific and clinical excellence
    • Assist submitting papers for peer reviewed publication and grant application and execution

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Job Experience

  • Bachelor degree in biology related science is minimal requirement.
  • PhD in embryology or reproductive sciences is highly preferred. Equivalent professional degrees will be considered.
  • Minimum 10 years of working in clinical embryology practice.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research.
  • Professional certification in clinical embryology is required.
  • Recognized research (publications and presentations) in the field of assisted reproduction is preferred.

Special Skills, Abilities, and Requirements

  • Excellent writing and verbal presentation skills as well as the ability to successfully interact with medical professionals at all levels are required
  • Working knowledge of practice standard and regulatory requirements as well as basic clinical trial design and statistics are required
  • Work is primarily independent in that it is performed without appreciable day-to-day direction; the successful candidate needs to be action oriented and motivated by results
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Must be able to travel at least 50%.
  • Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office products, word processing, excel, etc.)
